FAQs

The following helpful hints ensure that our photography session is enjoyable and runs smoothly.

Portraits

What should we wear for our family portrait?

Avoid sunglasses and excessive make-up as they tend to take away from the desired image, unless it is for fun or glamour shots.

Casual Family Portraits

Everyone should be dressed in similar colours and styles to ensure a consistent look where no one stands out. A nice look is for everyone to wear blue jeans with simple tops.

Formal family portraits

Dress as formally as desired, in similar colours and styles, so that no one wears a colour that overpowers the look of the rest of the group.

How can I prepare my child for a photo session?

Bring a few outfits for your child so you can change them if needed and to provide some variety to the images. A favorite toy or snack is a great help in reassuring and comforting your child during the photo session.

We provide some simple props and costumes to ensure your child has an enjoyable experience.

Wedding

Do you go to the wedding rehearsal?

Yes. We know the wedding rehearsal is an extremely useful and valuable event because we:

  • meet your family and bridal party
  • assess lighting conditions
  • discuss any photo restrictions inherent in a specific location
  • ease any last minute concerns

Do you take both black & white and colour photos?

Yes. We provide you with a combination of black & white and colour photos. Since our packages are designed to be unique to your needs, the exact proportion is determined by your taste and preferences.

Do you have a portfolio of recently photographed weddings?

Yes. We have a large wedding portfolio of our more recent and our favourite weddings. We also have samples of completed proof albums and a variety of other photos. See the portfolio section of this website and contact us to see our print portfolio.
